System Technology - The BEST application
provides districts with the ability to create, update and maintain their local budgets. It
is a relational database designed to assist in budget preparation, analysis and
projection. Operating as either a stand-alone or LAN-based application, BEST interfaces
with accounting subsystems such as NYSSCSS, EMAP, FAME and Finance Manager for data
transfer purposes.
- Tax Billing - Assists districts that do their
own tax billings, to build a database and to issue and track payments against tax bills.
- Finance Manager Financial
Software - A
business office service based on the Finance Manager software. This service offers
comprehensive, yet easy to use, integrated payroll, personnel, encumbrance accounting and
general ledger systems, all using the latest in modern database technology. A user
friendly report writer is included that can access all database entries. Finance Manager
can be implemented on a personal computer, Local Area Network or Unix-based computer.
- EMAP Payroll/Personnel - A complete system of payroll and
personnel management that can be operated in-house using a variety of distributed data
processing hardware/software platforms.
- EMAP Financial Accounting - A complete business management
system that can be operated in-house. Subsystems include accounts payable, general ledger,
requisition and purchase order processing.
