Test Reporting and Management
System This software is an extension of the Norm Referenced Test Scoring Service to give
districts "ad hoc" reporting capabilities from files of test scores stored on
local personal computers. The program allows school personnel to formulate queries,
produce reports and graphs, and to download test scores that are kept in the computer
center files.
District On-Site Coordinator
NERIC provides a part- or full-time person to be on site addressing districts
administrative technology needs. NERIC assists in hiring and coordinating this effort
between schools that wish to share an individual.
Microcomputer maintenance
provides on-site repair for qualifying personal computers, printers and other system
components.
Technical Support Provides
many levels of support to participating schools. Districts receive telephone support from
NERICs help desk. On-site assistance from more than 10 trained system engineers on
staff. Remote support via WAN connectivity where NERIC technicians are able diagnose and
correct most problems across the wire. Hardware maintenance is available from select
vendor affiliates.
Project Management NERIC
guides its districts through any technology initiative with comprehensive planning,
proposal generation, procurement, financing, monitoring, installation and support. With
vendor affiliates, the NERIC insures successful technology implementations. NERIC manages
projects where hardware or software comes from various funding sources, such as cash,
install, purchase, bond and capital projects.
Office System Integration
Assists districts in acquiring, installing, training and use of word processing, e-mail,
database, spreadsheet and other reporting software to enhance office productivity.
Groupwise More Than Just
E-Mail (D4A) GroupWise adds groupware and word processing capabilities while
integrating the latest Internet technologies.
Buildings and Grounds
Management Installed on a stand-alone personal computer or a local area network, this
software allows administrators to collect, track and manage a variety of information
related to the buildings and grounds operation of school districts and BOCES.
Statewide Data Collection
Assists districts in meeting automated reporting requirements of the NYS Education
Department, including the ST-3, SA-129, SA-100/19 and LEAP reporting.
